Student Spotlight
Illianna Carrington is a junior at the Secondary Learning Center. After high school graduation, she plans to attend college and major in nursing. She is looking forward to a lengthy career as a nurse.
At SLC, Illianna excels in the classroom. When asked about why she was successful at SLC, she replied, “I can pretty much work at my own speed and the teachers help and support me in anything. The counselor is the greatest person to talk to about anything and they will always work with you no matter the situation.”
At SLC, we have several students like Illianna who are juggling school and adult responsibilities. We are very proud of Illianna and wish her the best.
